At Primary Eye Care, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our Tupelo patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
Our staff is both knowledgeable and experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits. Most vision plans are designed as an added benefit or supplemental to your primary health insurance. These plans generally cover a cursory eye exam along with glasses and/or contacts every 1 or 2 years. Most separate plans require a copayment for your exam and your glasses/contacts. Your primary health insurance will cover any medically related office visit to your eye doctor just as it does with any other health care provider. If it’s necessary to use your primary health insurance to cover your visit, the doctor and staff will discuss this with you beforehand, all of your normal deductibles and copays would then apply should this be the case.
